Dieppe Market's safety measures !
Tomorrow is the big day ! We are so excited to be able to open our doors to customers and finally see all your friendly (highly recommended to be mask wearing) faces !
Before we start speaking about safety measures, we would like to remind all of our customers to bring proof of purchase from the Virtual Market, your vendor or $40 (exact change) to purchase Market Money at the door.
Also, many of the vendors attending the reopening of the Dieppe Market from 4:30 p.m to 8 p.m have already told us that they will have extra local goodies for you to bring home. So if you don’t want to miss your chance to express your love for local products make sure to bring cash !
Now, here are some measures we will be applying to keep you safe :
- One-way traffic flow throughout the Market, with the only entrance being at the Acadie street doors. You’ll therefore exit on the other side of the building. Don’t worry we made sure to cover all vendors so you’re not going to miss anyone !
- We will provide hand sanitizer at the entrance and will gentilly ask you to wash your hands before entering the building.
- They will be stickers on the floor to insure social distancing. We know it’s hard to focus on the floor when you have so much goodies to look at around you but please make sure to respect it.
- The amount of customers inside the Market at one time will be limited and has been determined by the Fire Marshall.
- We have asked all the vendors to wear masks and we strongly suggest that all customers wear one as well while being inside the Market.
- The Health Department will be on site to ensure that we do not only take your safety really seriously we go even beyond that.
